We are unlike other consultancies. We understand that users are customers, and customers are humans. We use techniques from anthropology and behavioural economics to observe and analyse your most loyal and your most experimental customers, to understand how they feel and behave. This means we’ve consistently uncovered real truths about core motivations that speak louder than what customers have said they do and think. We create truly ground-breaking and creative solutions that take into account human psychology, fitting the hidden values and irrational motivations of human life.
With this knowledge base, we drive effective product strategy and create highly creative, lateral, ground-breaking and beautiful designs which we build with our rock-solid development team.
Our competition is led by vast teams of management consultants focussed on metrics and KPIs, leading to often overly simplistic solutions that take the question as a given. In contrast to our personal approach, their partners rarely engage on a day-to-day level to grapple with the deeper questions. The strategy divisions hand down instructions to their designers, directing them often to highly prescriptive levels of detail. This approach may temporarily improve KPIs, but rarely answers the real long-range questions to drive true innovation.
At Alkemy, we believe in real results. We approach every project as if it were our own product. That means quality at every level of the production process; from idea inception right through to delivery into an end customer’s hands.
We’ve taken everything we’ve learned working within and for the creative labs of some of the world’s biggest technology brands. Whether it’s designing Microsoft’s 3D strategy and HoloLens augmented reality, reimagining the future of e-commerce at Argos, reshaping Commerzbank’s trading software, or rethinking operating system design for Ubuntu, and Skype TV… in fact all the way back to Apple, we’ve built up a library of experience and skills working at companies just like yours. We understand your challenges and are on your side.
